Selecting the appropriate augmentative communication (AAC) device can be overwhelming. There are so many devices, and so many features, how does one make a decision? This session will help clinicians/AT team members navigate their way through the variety of options, using resources developed and provided by the presenters. Attend this session and explore and compare a wide variety of high tech communication devices. Learn about appropriate device styles/types and their features. Receive a CD with specifications of high tech AAC devices, a device comparison chart, and free access/trials to on-line decision-making tools and resources from AAC TechConnect.
